A few weeks ago David's parents came to visit us. They were here for Father's Day weekend and we spent the day doing something I've always wanted to do-we rented a boat on Lake Dillon! It was a beautiful Colorado blue sky day and we loved every second of our day.
I'm so thankful for David and the amazing father he is to Daniel. He is kind, compassionate, loving and attentive. He makes time for Daniel every day after spending a long day at his desk working. He is intentional about his weekend time and having Daddy-Son time each Saturday morning.
Daniel LOVED the boat. In reality, he loves anything with a steering wheel, but he had a great time out on the water.
Dave's dad Joe had a great time having out with his grandson. Daniel loves his grandfather too!
Kristylee spent the afternoon with us on the boat. Being the daredevil that he is, he wanted to get as close to the water as possible. KL and him checked out the outboard motor whenever they had a chance.
I know the glasses are super corny looking. He loses every pair I buy now so I'm not spending more than a buck on each pair. Gotta love the dollar bin at Target!
