Tomorrow is a big day for us in the adoption world. We have our fingerprint appointment at the USCIS Immigration department tomorrow in Denver. It doesn't really mean anything other than we are crossing one more hurdle to Daniel being home with us. Once this is done and we're approved (we're not worried, there are no terrorists in our family), we are done on the US side. Then, it's all in Koreas hands and we wait for them to issue his passport and exit paperwork. We're still looking at mid-summer for him to come home but at this point, we celebrate every single hurdle!

Hi Tanya - I found you through the Holt forum and thought I'd say hello! My name is Rachel and my hubby and I are also waiting for our little guy Nathan Daniel - we are with AAC/Eastern too. We found Nathan on the waiting child list and were officially matched at the end of November. We just filed our I-600 too! It will be fun to follow your journey!
ReplyDeleteHey Tanya! We are with AAC too! We brought our daughter home from Korea in June and have been matched with another little girl! It was kind of a waiting child situation. We don't even have our acceptance to Korea yet. But looking forward to following your journey to your ADORABLE son! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteWow! I have followers and commentors! This is the most exciting thing. Almost as exciting as my adoption process. No, not really. I'm totally kidding, but you guys are awesome for commenting. THanks!
